Amir Ghali succeeds Kheir Boutros
Amir Ghali is an Egyptian national who lived all his life in the Middle East. He visited many countries in the Middle East and North Africa, sharing the Adventist message with others. He has worked for the Adventist Church in various capacities since 1990. Amir started as a teacher for English, Arabic, and Bible at the Boushrieh Adventist School in Lebanon. In 1992, he was asked to help start Adventist World Radio in Arabic and Farsi for the Middle East. The union administration later asked him to be in charge of Youth and Publishing Ministries. After that, Amir answered the call to begin TV work where Hope Channel MENA was established (Al Waad). Currently, Amir is working as a field secretary for AMR and Indigenous Development, and also serves as a Stewardship liaison.[BS1]

[BS1]I’m not sure what AMR is? Should this be AWR? Is Indigenous Development a department of MENA? And he serves as a liaison for what entities? This seems confusing to me.
