Mountain View Conference Uses Offertory Videos
President Tim Bailey introduced the stewardship videos to the Mountain View Conference pastoral team in 2022 and now they are played in most of their churches every Sabbath before the offering collection.
At the beginning of 2022, they uploaded the offertory devotional videos to USB sticks and distributed them to churches within their district. This initiative benefited remote rural churches where internet or wi-fi is not available. For this purpose, they successfully used the 2021 series (from the previous year), which was already available. (There are three complete year series already available: 2020, 2021, and 2022).
“We noticed an increase in giving with using the visual of the videos from 2021 and cannot wait to start the 2023 year with the new stewardship videos that have been released,” says Amber L. West, Administrative Assistant to the President.
Encourage the use of the weekly Offertory Devotional videos in your local church, right before the offering collection, or distribute the weekly links to your members during the week.
